Director's Message

Welcome to the Sydney Cancer Centre and to our new website. The website is the result of an extensive process of consultation with our current and former patients, and their carers, who told us about the things that they would find useful as they navigated their cancer journey.

You will find information here about the many state of the art services that we provide at our centre, along with useful information about different types of cancer and tips on how to care for yourself. There is also information about the research projects, including clinical trials, which are being carried out at the Sydney Cancer Centre.

I am proud of the care that we offer at the Sydney Cancer Centre and of the team that delivers that care. We aim to provide the best cancer care we can, it is always possible to improve the way in which we do things.

In addition to providing patient care, a large amount of research is carried out by our staff. This ranges from basic laboratory research through to clinical trials of new treatments. Details of this research are contained within this website, along with profiles of our researchers. We also have many students studying for higher research degrees.

We will be maintaining and updating our new website on a regular basis. If you are interested in our work, please check back regularly so that you can stay up-to-date with our activities.
