Look Good...Feel Better - Concord Hospital

Look Good... Feel Better is a free program dedicated to helping women undergoing treatment for cancer. The purpose of the program is to help women manage the appearance related side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, thereby helping to restore their appearance and self-image. The program is fun and run in a relaxed environment.

Royal Prince Alfred Campus Prostatectomy Workshops

Royal Prince Alfred Campus Prostatectomy Workshops

These small classes aim to prepare men for a Radical Prostatectomy.  They are open to all patients, not limited to those who are having the surgery at RPA Hospital.

Topics:
 -Dietary Advice
 -Psychosocial Issues
 -Physiotherapy
 -Catheter & Continence Management
 -Sexual Issues
 -If time permits, there will be a tour to the Urology ward and the Cancer Information and Support Centre

Classes are facilitated by a councillor and a urology nurse.  The small class sizes allow participants to meet others on the same journey as well as allowing more time for questions. These workshops are free of charge. All patients and families are welcome. Light refreshment are provided.

Booking are essential.
